UPDATE: Really enjoyed this episode. Kinda telling on many levels... we see the breakdown of the Grissom/Sara Relationship and the impact it's having on Grissom. Sara's coming to grips with reality and realizes that, in the end, she spent that last year in Vegas because of Grissom, and not because she still wanted to be there and she realized it wasn't healthy for her. Grissom on the other hand.... He's become disconnected from his job and his coworkers and he has only one person that he knows he can turn to, but, since it's Grissom he needs the excuse. Thankfully enough, he gets his excuses with the S&M related case... and enter in one of the best relationships on TV... Grissom/Heather. There's always that underlying tension, since Heather really is the only person who KNOWS Grissom. And, of course, in traditional Grissom/Heather way... we have no idea what happens at the end and it's only left to the imagination... but you can tell the look on Heather's face as she closes the door that she knows there's a problem.
I do hope it's not the last we're going to see of Lady Heather, given what's gonna be happening...but the future will tell, since it really isn't worth having Lady Heather around without...
As for the case itself... The case didn't really get a firm conclusion, so we know we'll be seeing some of the faces again... and quite frankly, I don't really think I even paid much attention to the case in this one. The Grissom/Heather relationship has that affect if Heather's NOT directly involved with the case, as she has been in the past.

.
On the other hand, you know Heather has always wanted to get into Gil's pants.

This was a very interesting episode (they were discussing the "pain button" at work even), but I hate these pseudo two-parters. I like to know everything in one hour instead of one week.
It's continued next week? I didn't get that impression. Sometimes CSI does episodes where they can't solve a case but pick it up several episodes (or even a whole season) later when new evidence pops up. I think they do it to maintain some sense of "realism" (where you can't always solve everything in 45 minutes).

Well, it's usually the other CSIs that do this, not Vegas. I like episodes where the action is exclusive. This is the same reason I quit watching Star Trek DS9. The episodes had to be watched in order, unlike TNG.It's continued next week? I didn't get that impression.
